On October 18th,  we gathered in the Ballroom at the Marriott Hotel in Rochester for a day long celebration of Norwegian-Minnesotan roots.  A great time was had by all!

HIGHLIGHT DVD

An hour-long DVD with highlights from the Sesquicentennial Celebration is now available.  It includes a look at all the day's activities and entertainment with the exception of "Those Lutheran Ladies."  They do not allow third party recording.  The video is home movie quality, with higher resolution than the You Tube video you can watch above.  For those who couldn't attend the party, it's a great way to enjoy the music, remarks, and good times for the first time.  For those who attended the Celebration in Rochester, it's a great way to keep the memories alive!  The $15 purchase price includes shipping.

DESCENDANTS OF NORWEGIAN-MINNESOTAN STATEHOOD PIONEERS

Many descendants of the Statehood Pioneers only attended our afternoon program and aren't part of this "elite" group - this portrait was taken after the evening banquet.

Wouldn't those old pioneers be proud to see this group of their great-, great-great, and great-great-great grandchildren together celebrating their lives and achievements 150 years later!
